It's about damn time these states honored Dr. King properly!

I hope their president unhesitatingly tells him where he can stick that idea, just like she did with his deportation wet dream

There's a shock 🙄

Why should we not applaud what small justice we do receive? Why should we not cheer the demise of a mass murderer whose callous decisions cut short the lives of thousands? Why should that man be magically granted sympathy, which was implicitly denied to all those whose deaths he caused?

We see our medical professional hamstrung by these two industries, wishing they could help us but unable to do so. We see our government routinely assisting these two industries with tax breaks & research funding. We see ourselves being endlessly exploited. And we don't like it.

We see a pointless, corrupt industry bloated by OUR money while it leaves us to die. We see the intricate connections between health insurance & our nation's drug cartels, who think slapping labels on their pills makes them less thuggish than the Mexican drug cartels we condemn in the US.

It's not that the rest of us approve of vigilante justice. We would absolutely love for the laws in this country to provide actual justice. But after 50 years of our healthcare needs being denied for no other reason than shareholder profit, we know there is no justice for us.
