Chaplain and Spirituality advisor to a housing charity based in the SW England. Former Anglican parish priest. Lover of OH (him), dogs (partic Rotties), and all of God's creation. (Well, I TRY to love everyone... But, well... I'm human).
It's easy to despair. It's easy to lose hope. If it's not too conspiracy-theory to say, that's what 'they' want. Despair and hopelessness fuels consumption to make ourselves feel better. So fight back - with self love and selfless love. With acts of kindness. Be change in your small world.

I despair at the Trump-first-fest. Then there's the lose-lose ceasefire in Palestine, where the undertakers are the only winners. Then there's the rise of the far right creeping in in the UK with us sleepwalking into it in the name of fair representation. We need to be aware and ready to speak out.

Wales this weekend – climate collapse happening before our very eyes .

We need to get serious . It’s why I’m petitioning for a ban on fossil fuel ads .

This is not Valencia, this is the town Tenbury Wells UK. There are very real consequences for all of us of ignoring 40 years of warnings from NASA & the world’s leading scientists. Reminder: as the planet heats, the atmosphere holds more moisture meaning rainfall intensity increases. #climatechange

The #UN humanitarian office reports a record-breaking toll on aid workers this year, with 281 victims so far. Among them, 178 were killed in the occupied Palestinian territories, including #Gaza, largely due to the ongoing conflict, while 25 lost their lives in Sudan.

Pretty pre-dawn walkies in the frost. Making the most of it before storm Bart arrives...

Interesting day today in #chaplaincyworld. A client was distressed that I broke his confidences by disclosing to the house staff that he was suicidal. He's in a better headspace today regardless, but... How would you've handled it?

Morning Blue-sky-ers. It's a bit frosty this morning, but it certainly blows the cobwebs away...

Terrible news today:

This year, one-third of coral cover has been destroyed in two northern sections of the Great Barrier reef due to anthropogenic heating.

Results for the southern sections (which were even hotter) have not been officially released.

Lovely stroll with B today. He discovered a new friend - a working pointer - and interacted with Elsa's two (a JR and a pedigree KCC - I know this as Elsa tells me EVERY TIME that she wants to breed him...). So nice to live somewhere without dog breed prejudice.
