I won't be investing in Geoship. I wish them the best of luck and do hope they are able to bring it to market as their building is healthier than most.

That being said, it smells like Katerra and for that, I'm out.

Thanks to Steve Jobs and Gorilla Glass, factories in America are now ramping up to make affordable windows, made from panes thinner than a credit card, that can:

* save Americans $25 billion / year

* withstand a 2x4 shot out of a cannon

A Piece of Glass Thinner Than a Credit Card Could Solve America’s $25 Billion Energy Problem
New windows can insulate better than most walls, and some can even survive being hit with a two-by-four shot from a cannon.

Great piece on a missing middle housing called Mews here in Phoenix. #passivehouse wasn't the goal it was a byproduct of focusing on healthy sustainable materials used properly.

It's hard for me to take a step back at times and see if I need to be an artist or a craftsman. Most of the time it seems like I need to be a craftsman.

Exactly this. Using healthy natural materials is objectively better, they just happen to be more sustainable and performant along the way.
i regularly get a number of emails from architects and planners (practicing - not just students) who want to learn more about how i got into activism and advocacy as an architect.

Ok, I'm going for it. I'm already all in on meditation, but group meditations for peace feels...religious.

I don't classify myself as religious or spiritual. I am simply curious about these high wave lengths that we can tap into and how they create a love for life.

I'm quick to let go of ideas that don't work. This *feels* frustrating but by the time I finish I'm excited that I let it go.

Building a passive home is always exciting, but our path to promote good building is equally unique. I'm happy to be part of this movement that prioritizes healthy buildings 🤙

Scottsdale's new city council is looking to repeal the Sustainability plan that got adopted...*checks notes*...last month.

To be honest, it's more frustrating to see these types of politics at a local level than national.
