My free Malazan hack for Grimwild & Pirate Borg adventure - https://matthew-andre.itch.io
Haha we all learn that one!

I just had to do some layout in canva, since it had pre-made templates for the system.I searched high and low for a two page spread view and couldn't find it.

The background elements didn't line up AT ALL, and I had to play around with them for an hour.

This hack is completely free and works perfectly with the free (feature-complete) edition of Grimwild, which you can find here:

All pages for the Mage here, to show off the new Warren casting. Grimwild has an incredibly free-form magic system that uses touchstones, and the warrens are a great fit!

TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF DEMON SUMMONING! Make your own weird little guy, and then level up and make an even weirder little guy!

The first page for the Marine! The Marine, Heavy, and Priest all have unique talents to play as a Mortal Sword, Shield Anvil, and Destriant!

Here's a look at the first page for the Sapper! Really excited about this one! I think it'll be incredibly fun to narrate how you've built a 15 metre long bridge overnight and hid it under the darkness, and then throw a cusser at a dragon!

There's still another full page of talents!

I have a very small blog all about this! It looks at several newer products that do layout well, and even looks at some low-art games.

Triangle Agency does a tiny bit of this, but an expanded hack would be amazing!

Is there any reason I can't run Mothership modules with this one? Been looking to run A Pound of Flesh, but I'm not convinced Mothership is the system for it.

Looks good enough I'll run it anyway, but just wanting to check this!

Sure, if you're a group of tv actors, the GM talking about camera movements probably seems pretty natural.

But my character is not an actor. I'm acting, and the 'camera' isn't on me.

Furthermore, the visual mediums do not require imagination for visuals. This makes them a relatively poor option.

I was watching an actual play series where the GM would use visual medium terminology as a GM. Years later, he stopped, because, he played in a game where the GM did the same, and he realized he hated it.

Some people aren't on the other side of the table enough to know what works for them in play.
