It's been two weeks since our boys came to a draw with their cancers. I miss them dearly every day and keep seeing their shadows in the corner of my eye. Thanks for the beautiful decade you gifted us with boys.

And now we had to say goodbye to out little cuddle goblin, Barley. He was a rescue from Dubai, he had a kinked tail, a bit of a waddle, and so much love to give.
It hurts so much to have both of our boys taken from us.

Basil took a turn for the worse last night. Just fell off a cliff health-wise. He went from his usual self to barely able to walk and a strained purr. We took him to emergency and had him put down. I miss him immensely but glad he won't suffer. I'll miss my little shadow.

Some good belly scritches for at least one of them.
