At 508 AM ChST, The public reports heavy rain and flooded streets across portions of southern Guam, particularly in the village of Merizo. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour, as noted at several automated rain gauges. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches per hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible across central and southern Guam. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, and streets as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
