Very good starting game as well for anyone that has never touched Touhou in their life’s the gallery section has so much info on fandom culture surrounding a character as well as their canon and a whole lot of explanations of the world as a whole I can’t recommend it enough as a starting point
Fantasy Maiden Wars might truly be my fav Touhou fangame of all time the retellings of EoSD and IN in particular are so near and dear to my heart just got through subterranean annimisms retelling and it was literally so peak I cried I love Satori and Koishi

I love feral depictions they do of characters like Rumia and Mystia in some touhou fanarts a lot of people forget that we see gensokoyo from the pov of Reimu a yokai exterminator so low level yokai like these wouldn’t be scary to her but to the average human they would be terrifying to encounter

Can’t wait for college to start back up game dev is so fun tbh looking forward to storyboarding this semester apparently they are gonna teach me how to draw from what I heard down the grapevine from my animation friends so that’s gonna be interesting
