Finally finished my piece of @realgdt.bsky.social's Frankenstein. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is the reason I started reading and I just cannot stop thinking about this film. Just beautiful all around.

Just an absolutely beautiful take on Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Guillermo del Toro is at his best when he does gothic horror and this one was no different. Beautiful to look at. Amazing performances from everyone. Jacob Elordi's take on Frankenstein's monster was beautiful.

So Maika Monroe and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are having an insane "diva off" it's just too bad the writing doesn't give them more to play with. These are two amazing actresses who are giving everything to these roles, but everyone else is letting them down.
