UK here. Moved house earlier this year. Was in year 2 of 5 year mortgage at 2.7%. Borrowed a small extra piece at 4.77%. Hopefully in 3 years interest rates will come down a bit and I can consolidate around 3%. Didn't have to pay a fee to port. Common to most banks in the UK.
