Last night we were downtown on Granville street and some people were yelling, being aggressive, pissing on the side of a building, and all tweaked out on alcohol ...

I bet you thought I was referring to a homeless drug user?

Nope!! I'm pretty positive these people all have homes.

Homeless folks have been stigmatized and treated unfairly forever.

Having a home shouldn’t be a requirement to be treated with kindness, compassion, and understanding.

Hey Danielle Smy here is a recovery story that isn't fabricated.

On February 18th 2013 I was brought back to life at a supervised consumption site and I'm now almost 13 years sober off all drugs!!

My kids wouldn't be alive if harm reduction and recovery didn't exist ....

Larry Campbell is the new DTES czar and I remember him well in the years I struggled in the DTES.

He was a strong advocate for harm reduction services like supervised consumption sites and his administration focused on health approaches instead of punishment.
