Following up on this. I commented about this under a friend's FB post. He's a Bernie type far leftist. I said something to the effect that I support these strike days but a long term general boycott would hurt the big corps more.

I've actually been thinking about this a lot. The worst thing we ever did was try to appeal to their better nature. MAGA is the most insecure and frightened people in the country. Repeatedly telling them Trump was dangerous and evil just made them feel tough being in the gang.

A general boycott though. Just checking out of society. That's something that can be done indefinitely.

I live in a smallish city where it should at least be a MILD draw. I checked all showings as far into next week as possible. It looks like anyone who is going is going to be at a half full screening on Friday.
