Another is the clarity of price on the sign out front.
Many Shell (and probably other) stations with car washes prominently display the "Regular with Car wash price" - typically 20-30 cents less than the normal Regular price, which is displayed smaller beneath.

If the pump had advertisements on the screen without audio, I'll award 3 or 4 stars depending on how intrusive they are.

I follow a strict rubric:
If a gas station's pumps play advertisements with audio, it automatically gets one star. It can earn a star back if there is a button that mutes it, even if you have to hit 8 unmarked buttons in order to find it.
