I know, but what we have seen so far is just the beginning. He is testing the water and laying the groundwork. I think he will tell a narrative that it’s too unsafe in the cities to hold free and fair elections and cancel the mid terms. Then do the same come the next general election.

I think sadly they will kill someone but the narrative will be full of lies. Trump will then use those lies to say the officers are at risk and send even more federal troops. He wants it to get ugly so he can unleash full fascist control.

As the day draws to a close, please know that your best was good enough. If you know you gave it your best shot, the day was well lived. In these times of anxiety, and in this world of hollow status, simply recognising that You and your effort matter is gold dust. Rest well, my friends. 😊

General strike would be the strongest response. But, the average person won’t do it because they fear losing their job and home and lifestyle. They agree with the idea but don’t want the hardship of the consequence, and so they will quietly walk deeper into the mire, moaning as they do so.

A little Cornish calm to end your day. Rest well, my friends. We go again tomorrow. 😊

Sadly, Paul, I think it’s going to take an economic collapse for the average MAGA to realise what idiots they have voted in. Unless it hits them in the pocket, they don’t care. That’s why the mid-west farmers are now finally waking up to the realities of what they voted for.

The gentle rhythm of nature: a reminder that life moves on with or without us. It is understandable to be wrapped up in our worries and anxieties; they are real. Yet, if we fail to pause and return to our breathing and be in the present moment, we will miss our appointment with Life. 🙏

I hope your opinion is the one that prevails as opposed to mine.

Today is the Chinese celebration of mid-autumn festival. A significant time of the lunar year and the harvest. I took this shot of the full moon to celebrate.

Personally, I am boycotting the USA. It makes me sad for I have had many enjoyable visits, but I refuse to go and contribute to the economy of the country. The economy and the American wallet must be made to suffer as that seems to be the only way Americans wake up and take action.

It’s akin to the Berlin Olympics in 1936 with Hitler as guest of honour and the whole event draped in fascism.

A very valid point. Saudi money is rampant in sport and particularly in football. Many fans feel resigned to the fact of accepting it or give up the game they love. It’s a hard balance because the corruption and influence is everywhere. We are messaging on smart phones made in Chinese sweatshops.

I hope that soccer fans put principles before their love of the game and boycott next year’s FIFA World Cup. To travel en masse, in an atmosphere of celebration, to a country that is allowing fascism, ICE and economic tariffs that hurt us, would be wrong on every level. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

Absolutely right about remaining calm and polite. They don’t know how to react to that. They come expecting a verbal or physical fight. Despite our extreme anger, remaining calm and quietly spoken and polite throws them.

And how does that work when he steps into the house and refuses to move to let you close the door? Then you have to push, at which point he’ll grab and arrest you. They know that, and are waiting for you to create the excuse they need to abuse their power.
guywrites.bsky.social
That’s exactly what Trump wants you to do. Then he’ll use it and exaggerate it to say it’s a lawless town and more troops are needed. You’ll play right into his hands and so it escalates.

Why don’t the journalists shout about this to his face and to his cronies?

I was thinking this only today. He wants a civil war and unrest, stoking the fire so it eventually fits his false narrative. There will be no mid terms and I honestly cannot see him walking away at the next general election when defeated. It will make Jan 6 look like a picnic. 😔

Porthcurno on a blustery, storm-soaked day. It is always magical whatever the weather. 😊 🌊
