1.25 T would a restore all Medicaid cuts and ACA subsidies for the next 10 years. After restoring all cuts billionaires would STILL GET 3.5 T in tax cuts. So what the shutdown boils down to is Trump and Republicans choose to GIVE billionaires an EXTRA 1.5 T over affordable healthcare for Americans.

Dems lost the House in 2022, the Senate & White House in 2024. Why? Their focus on ‘widening the tent’ left portions of the base feeling abandoned, neglected. Not true of course, but Repubs saw a disinformation opportunity & took it. Dems have much repair work to do before midterms. GET BUSY…STAT!
