Our communal neighbourhood cat found a spot on the roof of our garden shed. She lives in the backyards of us and our neighbours. The nextdoor neighbour feeds her, but she also gets her share in our house.

Last weekend my wife and I took a short trip to the German Eifel. We stayed in the small medieval town of Kronenburg.

Got rained upon during our Saturday afternoon walk at De Deelen just north of the town of Heerenveen in the north of the Netherlands.

I'm trying to grow a nice big Spear Thistle. Sowed the seeds about a week ago. And they are already showing their first germ leaves.
The Spear Thistle is Scotland's national flower. Not to be confused with the Scots Thistle or Cotton Thistle.
Small green leaves of a spear thistle which just germinated. The leaves are oval and two of them are standing opposite of eachother. There are 4 germed young plants in the picture.
