One problem with having elderly puppies: sometimes they sleep so deeply I have to check they're still breathing coz they don't wake up when I stroke them 😱😱

I've heard of all of them but the only one I'd use personally would be 'the lights are on but nobody's home' (either as a joke or as an insult) 😁😁 For example, I sometimes say it about my stupid cat!

started watching My Little Pony in danish (w/o subtitles), and considering how little I've practiced my listening I'm super happy with how much I'm able to understand! there are also a few Ghibli films in danish on netflix so I want to give those a go soon too

I do worry there's something 'wrong' with me that I like and get on better with animals than people - even my own family who I adore. but when my mum goes away so it's just me and the pets for a few weeks and I don't talk to *anyone* = I THRIVE AND AM AT MY BEST

I *should* get back in touch with the drs to get another mental health appointment but it would probs be a waste of time... I know people can be kicked out for non-compliance - I'm still taking my antipsychotics after the psych told me not to (I'm scared to go off them), which = noncompliance?

...plus general low 'intelligence' on my part is probably an issue. like middle school-level literary or language analysis goes over my head and makes me angry coz none of it makes sense. I think I perceive words differently than other people coz my brain just Lacks something

I do wonder if I have some sort of learning or language disorder coz even in English most of the words I 'know' idk what they mean at all, I just know how they fit into sentences ;___;

(so when reading posts like 'polish word A means 'to eat' while word B means 'to eat up' I just ??? WAT)

had a bad Outside The House experience yesterday (accidentally wore weather-inappropriate clothing and caught three separate people/groups laughing at me) but I was good and went out again today rather than holing up in my room for a month (I had to buy the addictive richmond's vegan ham YUMYUM)

it's more difficult than the Dziennik cwaniaczka series but I'm already noticing repeated vocab. getting used to reading more 'formal' fiction is !!! (/positive) #langsky

+ even if my anxiety allowed it I couldn't just walk around all day to kill time, all my footwear kills my feet aside from my sliders and I'm not gonna risk looking stupid with bare toesies out in the cold weather (SOCKS AND SANDALS IS NOT AN OPTION)
