As an example for what I mean for a "complex half-body", I'm down to do something like the Mad Rat Dead style I've been having a lot of fun with or any other art style you'd like for me to emulate :3 I'll put all I can into these & include shading (unless it's a style that works only with flats)

Looking for art advice~
At first, I wanted to make this a Mad Rat Dead styled piece but played around with colors & filters for shading and now feel this is a really nice direction to follow... but I'm not sure how to do lighting/shading for the body :x

I've been experimenting with the built-in filters to mess with colors & I found one that gave me the really good yellow to go on the body & the super saturated pink for the hair :> I started out with a very saturated blue for the shadows, and making it a subtract filter gave me yellow

My favorite event definitely had to be the firepit cookout we had on Saturday night 💞 We got a good fire going, cooked some good burgers + hotdogs, experienced The Flavor™️, and explored the 1000% cursed basement of our cabin lmao
