July 19th 2024: I began my daily voice training grind. Hearing the stupid machine do what I had wished I could do for my song made me so fucking angry that I was determined to get my voice, sharpen my skills, and fucking crush it.

My only goal is to not hear "him". I don't care if I'm off pitch and have no rhythm. I'd rather sound like a woman who can't sing to save her life than sound like the best male singer in the world.

It's not about impressing anyone. I just want to be able to participate and have fun without bursting into tears mid verse because all I can hear is some man singing my damned song! I'm really hoping to have fun this year.

At one time I figured I'd just keep going on forever for the same kinds of reasons, but honestly... I'd much rather work on music than make video game videos. So, I'll probably step back a bit and officially go "casual" with it after I'm done Skyrim and end my Elder Scrolls Anthology playthrough.

Thanks. It's pretty motivating to hear that. I've been having a hard time staying motivated. Like, on the one hand I want to finish what I started, people like watching me, but on the other I hate doing anything that helps Google/Youtube even a bit. Plus, it's hard to put on a smile all the time. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

I know it's not, and I should just do it... it's just that instinct of "reading the room" that I carry irl, and I'm foolishly applying it to a global scale.
