Exactly. Everything points to the game being nowhere near ready for release, so the fact that they publicised a timeline and were encouraging pre-orders doesn’t sit right with me. At this point it wouldn’t surprise me if we just get FM26 Lite in March.

Completely agree. The match engine itself has been the same for too long. My major issue is they were asking people to commit to pre orders 3 weeks before they announced it was delayed. You can’t tell me that they didn’t know the game was nowhere near ready at that point.

The best idea would be to scrap FM25 altogether and move straight on to releasing a more complete version of FM26 next year. The issue is that they are probably tied into a lot of sponsorship etc, and have made financial commitments that FM25 is going to be released.
