The reality is that many of us can only resist within unjust rules of the game. It's not loud but it's nonetheless powerful, united, and courageous. We all know about the Underground Railroad now but you better believe they kept up appearances to build a resistance

I appreciate the irony in that though I think he still would've performed the song had he not been in the audience. Now if some cameras had panned to Don when those words dropped...THAT would have been epic nonviolent resistance

He wrote the show. If Samuel L. Jackson's performance spoke to you, Kendrick Lamar was the artist who gave him that part to play in his show. Agreed that what his Uncle Sam portrayal said and showed about American culture was very powerful and accurately calling us out

Then it would have been used against him and distracted from the message. The people who should be stopping Don are our elected officials. They're the ones changing the rules of the game to give him what he wants. Direct your anger and disappointment at the people who have real power to stop him.
