What if Biden had Listened? - 99%. Keir Starmer needs to pay attention too. Huge majority now is time to secure and improve Britain’s democratic institutions and politics - voting reform, political donations, MPs second/third jobs, BBC governance, and more

Most of media always deeply hostile towards a Labour government - I recall the years of Harold Wilson and Callaghan. Blair had an easier ride but Brown didn’t. The hostility towards Starmer is off the scale not just right wing press but also certain BBC/Sky/ITV people.

Brexit - Nine years on. Impact report.
‘’After considering all of the evidence, the report argues that the consensus view – that Brexit’s economic impact would be negative and large – has been borne out.

#Brexit and #immigration sits at the heart of what has happened last 25 years. Net migration and immigration at more than double the figures before the EU referendum was not what the public was promised.

Told @BethRigby repeated the line ‘never here Keir.’ Just can’t hide her bias/disrespect. It’s PM working on world stage (something UK govts ignored last10 years) and very good at it. How about treating Farage this way-absent from Clacton, avoiding parliament, US jaunts and more

#Badenoch is taking huge gamble.Telling centrist in Tory party ‘get out of the way’ There was a sentence in draft speech but taken out-‘’My Conservative party has moved to the right every day since I became leader,”.
Obviously will try and outdo Farage.

Interesting: these percentages must mean that 30% and more fell into the don’t know category. If Labour MPs are foolishly going to replace Starmer on opinion data of this kind they will be taking an enormous risk that could go horribly wrong. For my part it will be stupid.

So often in my lifetime Labour falters due to divisions, infighting, enemies within. Then has knack of choosing unelectable leaders too-Foot, Kinnock, the wrong Miliband and Corbyn. After 14 years, in power at last BUT off they go again. A death wish. 3 years before next election

Has any Labour MP/party member stopped and think what if Burnham had been allowed to stand in the by- election, having relinquished Manchester mayoralty, causing another by election - then party went on and LOST the two by-elections. Tragic for Burnham, Disaster for Labour.

Why the decision not to allow Burnham’s name go forward is sensible and the right one.

As Carney warned - ‘’the old order is not coming back’’ …nostalgia is not a strategy’’…

As we return to a pre-WW2 order, the middle powers face a challenge
With economic stagnation and extremes of inequality comes corrosion of trust in democratic institutions. So Trump may be a symptom, not a cause, of what Carney called a
