As someone who had read all the books, it was really fun to watch the series. As I watched, I was pointing out all the non obvious dark friends. Don't worry, I won't spoil any. I also laughed at the online fan theories from people who hadn't read the books.

If you are doing a reread, I will agree that any time is fine. However, I do feel that Eye of the World is a much better introduction to Jordan's work.

Literally a whole shelf. I've been reading the series since the late 90's. Enjoy! Tried to post a picture of the shelf but it failed to upload. I definitely recommend New Spring and Warrior of the Altaii after you finish the main series.

Robert Jordan has been one of my favorite authors since high school. A little bit of an aquired taste. Back then, the flaws were less noticeable, and I would devour 300+ pages a day.
