There’s no continuity with providers. My employer changed insurance companies 3 times in 5 years and had to get a new PCP every time! You used to be able to have your same doctor for most of your life. Definitely affects your health care!

Oh gosh, I got up to speak at a City Council meeting and I was supposed to state my name and address; I couldn't remember my address!!! I've lived here for 28 years and my mind went blank. My voice during my whole statement after that.

Am I missing something? When I get my insurance statements and see that my doctor only got paid $20 for my visit......why can't I just give him the $20 and skip the whole insurance crap? Is insurance just a scam?
