but whenever i enter a new lego moment i cant stop myself from digging for new or more curious pieces… it happened again today… i tell myself its okay im not playing with it regularly bc hopefully i still have a couple of decades left in me to play in spurts

actually i wish i couldve told you "i already collected enough pieces, im done" bc whenever im not having a lego moment im self-conscious about how much space my lego takes up (i need to get a cabinet for it) and how ive spent more of my lifetime collecting and cataloguing parts them than building

…but most often i visit one of the physical used-sold-by-weight lego stores in my city and dig for treasures and surprises. i actually avoid bricklink (unless i can do in-person pickup) bc my brain melts from having to browse the entire store before i place an order and its really bad for me lol

i had placed a couple of bricklink orders in the past and i do buy a small-to-medium second-hand official lego set from time to time (if im interested in most of its pieces and the price to weight ratio is good, and if i also like it for reasons other than the assortment of parts)…

damn, i would've loved that!! gonna be honest; i don't remember if i've ever actually read the book… but the 1939 movie is one of my faves. maybe i should read it now and see how i vibe with the text and whether it would be a good book in public domain to base a self-directed portfolio project on??
