I avoided the show for years bc everyone said it was bad and then I sat down to watch it finally a few years back and was floored. I enjoy Korra more in so many regards and that first season especially was easily my favorite.

While it certainly can be, I was really pleased with the depths that character relationships still have even when not in a romantic context. Also as someone with a chronic disability, Karlach was a gut punch and really the game as a whole, fighting for time you don’t have.
