with pitch's new reference sheet done, i have all my characters ready to go for this year's #artfight!

looking forward to drawing people's cool characters and seeing how they draw mine!
Pitch (she/her) is a flightless griffon and stands tall at 6'8", the reference sheet calling her a "big girl!" Pitch herself is a bright red griffon with gray beak and hands, pointed ears, a lion tail, and a fluffy collar. The tip of her tail, her hair, and her eyebrows are a cool green, while her fingers and toes are tipped with white claws. She wears a pale green set of overalls with short pant legs and a brown belt. Her right hand is lifted up as if gesturing while talking, while her left hand rests on a shovel with its tip driven into the ground. The reference sheet lists Pitch as being transgender and pansexual, with her also being described as "stoner", "still the most reliable person you know", "no volume control", and "cuddlebug". She is said to love gardening, board games, sandbox/sim games, and salted nuts; while she dislikes loud noises, bright lights, crowds, and "literally everything about the city tbh". The reference sheet also notes that she can be drawn with a bulge, a transgender symbol below the note; and that she loves overalls but will wear anything with no fashion sense.

Zip, the little mana vampire!
Zip (it/its) is a mana vampire about 4'6" tall, with a very animalistic shape. Zip is a pale indigo with purple patterns, bright green eyes, and yellow horns. It has a goat-like face, albeit with huge bat-like ears and sharp teeth, including small purple "eyebrows", purple nose, and a closed third eye. Zip has four fingers per hand and three toes per foot, all of which have sharp, yellow nails. Its shoulders, elbows, and hips have a flowy effect. Zip's tail is long and wirey, ending in a large diamond shape tip. Past the halfway point, Zip's tail becomes a semi-transparent teal. The notes on the page list Zip as being nonbinary, quoisexual, and aromantic. The notes list Zip as being a "mana vampire", "prankster", "nice 'enough' but no qualms about draining mana", and "tries not to hurt people, usually". The page also shows Zip's third eye open, also being a bright green. Some further notes mention that Zip can shapeshift but prefers the form in the image and that the patterns can change or be removed. Zip can also turn invisible or ethereal, partially or fully (great for not getting tail stepped on!). Zip can/does wear clothes! Prefers gaudy colors & patterns.

this time with Ikarion, my half-dragon sorcerer
Ikarion Maelact (he/they) is an elf sorcerer with half-dragon blood, specifically that of a kirin/qilin. He has cool, dark skin with black hair, bright yellow eyes, and patches of white hair and green, leathery skin across his body. He has a long, white tail with a thick tuft of blue hair at the end. He's wearing a small, blue top, magenta pants, and dark red boots. He's holding a staff in his right hand, topped with a blue orb. He's side-eyeing the camera and sticking his tongue out. The other notes on the reference sheet list show he is bisexual and transgender, and describes him as "super charismatic", "total showboat", "bit full of himself", "kind of an asshole tbh", "still love him", "BIG fashionista so give him fun outfits!" The reference sheet also shows that his feet have claws and green skin and that the white hair forms a mane going from his neck to the base of his tail. Ikarion is also shown using his "mist magic & ice magic" and hanging out with his two partners, Dynn and Liao; with the word "Polyamory" below them. He likes theater plays, musicals, raves, and dancing; but he dislikes reading, hangovers, stuffy clothes, and heat.

A reference sheet for Mateo (he/she), an anthropomorphic pinata...dog? His fur is yellow, pink, and blue with square tufts of fur. His neck has a very fluffy color, his tail and hands are also very fluffy as is his hair. He's sticking his magenta tongue out and throwing up a heart sign while holding a wooden bat with "PINATA" written on it. He's wearing several bracelets, a green crop top, and pale blue denim shorts. The reference sheet notes he is bigender and pansexual, likes parties, candy, fashion, and arcades; and dislikes "his awful social battery", working, veggies, cold weather, and kids. Other notes list that he's around 5'5", in his mid-20s, "really chill", "kinda lazy", "sassy, but doesn't mean any harm", and "bit of a slut tbh". The sheet also notes he tires out really fast with a doodle of him wrapped up sleeping in a blanket, and that you can give him different outfits, colors, piercings, etc.; with a drawing of an orange and purple Mateo wearing a sleeveless gray shirt, green pants, and brown boots.

Getting my ref sheets down before I start doing bigger pieces digitally.

The notes list her as loving overalls, but willing to wear anything with zero fashion sense. She also loves gardening, weed, and board games; but hates cars and anything too loud or bright.
