I never thought to check, but now that we have an aging 🐕 who needs medical attention at times & it comes up suddenly, I was thinking “maybe they’re covered under FMLA” in MN & more specifically the new PAID FMLA @ my job - but no. They ARE considered family, but aren’t recognized as part of FMLA😒

She did it for a third time. I feel so bad for her. I love her so fucking much 😭😭😭

Me wiping down the car with whatever I have while our dog lays the air in the backseat and you can tell she just doesn’t feel well. Trying to clean this up when it’s completely dark out is challenging, but I will say that she has at least had the courtesy all three times to do it on the floor and do it well I’m not in the car while we’ve been just running a few errands today 😞

The 2nd day was becuz I requested 1 day of rest for my torn tendon in my right elbow, which is the 1st time I’ve ever asked for any accommodation or rest since June 2025 & they made me put it in as a non-paid sick day when it should’ve been paid by Workmen’s Comp. So please, please help us!😭

Now I have to stay home tmrrow w/no PTO to my name bcuz our dog has been sick all day today (since this morning) and it’s freaking me out because of what happened a couple of summer years ago - and she’s about to be 13 so this will be TWO days in the same pay period that I won’t get paid 💔😞

So here are the days I’ll go w/no pay before summer hits & then the pay disappears for 3 months again 😞

I wanted to finish our 2025 goal in 2025 but it looks like it’ll spill into 2026💔

I’m very close to my bachelors too & am trying to finish that for a small pay bump @ work. Plz, PLZ help us 🙏

A screenshot of our school calendar and I have highlighted the days that I will not get paid for throughout the year or I guess throughout the school year since it’s not an entire 12 months. Some months I go many days without pay and others. It is anywhere from 1 to 4 days but altogether it adds up and takes away a lot of money from my son and I, which is why I am doing this one time larger fundraiser for us.

This is a photo of me will not of me but of the floor of our car and I’m cleaning up with pet odor, extreme cleaner stuff because she had diarrhea all over the floor for the second time and threw up and I am living in hell just at the moment there are people who have been far worse and I am fully aware of that. And I knew this day would come that she would get old and she would need a lot more support and I would have to watch four signs of it being time which it’s not time yet but it’s approaching and that’s just a fact of life and it’s incredibly difficult for me

The entrance from the hallway into our apartment where it tease off to the bathroom and kitchen, and the two rugs on the floor are all smooshed and spun around and the dogs, leash and collar and poop bag are on the floor next to 2 little drops of drool probably - either that or it’s from her feet because it was raining out earlier and then my pair of black crocs sitting on one of the twisted rugs
