I have a mouthful of crowns. From a mouthful of fillings. Growing up, our water did not have fluoride. My daughter had zero cavities growing up, and had a tiny one as an adult. She grew up with fluoride in the water.

I live in a deeply red state (TN). The denial here is head shaking! I live in an impoverished area where trump flags have flown for years! Folks here get their electricity shut off and/or ask for help on fb to buy food, then vote for trump.

And I keep reading FB posts about how awful the last 4 years were. I respond by saying’I know, highest employment figures. Solid stock market and same things you list, then write that they are drinking the kool aid.

My daughter never had a cavity! Our city had fluoride in the water! I have a mouth full of fillings. No fluoride in the water while I grew up. I’m fussy about chemicals, but cavities caused me pain. I support fluoride in the water and fluoride treatments at the dentist for kids.

It amazes me that people don’t understand a big picture impact. Sole proprietors don’t worry about people losing government jobs, but those folks are customers of sole proprietors. No job means no or limited ability to hire sole proprietors. High unemployment is bad for everyone!
