Got to see an excellent free concert of Over the Rhine performing at Cincinnati's River Roots Festival in Yeatman's Cove. Show started really soft and subtle, but by the end the band was really rocking. Great to hear some 90s tunes.

RIP to local Cincinnati music icon Jimmy D (Davidson). Former guitarist in The Highwaymen, The Libertines, The Reduced, Buddy Bradley Experience, & many more. Back in the 90s golden era of Short Vine, Jimmy D's music store was the Floyd's Barber Shop for musicians. A daily stop!

Warmer weather has encouraged me to get out to our parks more. It's a short window to actually see many Spring wildflowers. Bluebells always step out.

Shout out to Gaylord Nelson, a former Senator and Governor from the state of Wisconsin who started Earth Day in 1970. I was just a toddler, but my family had just moved to Wisconsin, and I remember my parents talking about what a big deal this was. Still is.
