In mijn opinie-artikel in Trouw betoog ik waarom het wetsvoorstel om ontsnapping uit de gevangenis en het saboteren van elektronisch toezicht strafbaar te stellen, meer is dan symboliek.

Last week, I gave a talk on 'Imprisonment and Meaningful Work' at a workshop on prison labor @uva-fmg.bsky.social

I argue that imprisonment should enhance individuals' ability to participate in society, through offering meaningful opportunities for work while they serve their prison sentence.
