Not to mention, sometimes people don't wanna hurt others when in this community specifically, allowing one to feel that small towards said caretaker is proof of letting their walls down. So if the caretaker ends up not liking the little, there's a chance that they feel like they hurt the little.

They're a myth it feels like some days, but the reality is that they just don't wanna attract too many awkward types with that fact.

My go to's are a bit odd myself. Carrots cus I use my eyes so much and wanna keep them in good condition, and beets of all things. The funny colored looking onions are just DELICIOUS when cooked right~
