Our EU Delegation in #Kyiv was heavily damaged this morning when a Russian missile struck a neighbouring building.

The explosion shattered windows and caused a ceiling collapse.

Less than 3 hours after #Albania requested assistance to fight wildfires, 2 Canadairs from 🇬🇷 & 1 from 🇮🇹 from the #rescEU fleet were deployed this afternoon.

The canadairs are offering support to local teams battling the fires in Vlora & Dibër counties.

3 yrs into this nightmare, the suffering continues to deepen.

As Russia shows utter disregard of IHL, the EU continues to stand by Ukraine, delivering life-saving aid & supporting those hit hardest by the war.

Following the escalation in the #MiddleEast, 8 EU Member States activated the Union Civil Protection Mechanism to assist EU citizens affected by airspace closures in the region.

So far, almost a thousand people were brought back to the EU.
