Photograph of a no-right turn sign beside a road in Petchaburi, Thailand. The sign is old with a network of fine cracks across it but is still reasonably legible. Behind the sign is a pavement (sidewalk) with closed shophouses plus my red bicycle.

The red is a layer on top of the white that has finer cracking and stops the cracks in the white. But I don't understand the physics so I'll just enjoy its aesthetics.

From somewhere on here....strangely, the arrows that are very hard to see look like they started life as white arrows on a white background!
