I also kinda don't like the way krauss was retconned in the answers arc. he originally was supposed to be similar to kinzo & I feel like by dumbing him down so much it ruined lot of the earlier themes & people forget how misogynistic he is. I think his original character was more interesting 💀

people would talk about how long it'd take to read and how there's so much depth and whatnot. then every other week arguing about which sprites you shouldn't use

one thing I think is nice about here rather than umitwit is I'm seeing a lot more nuanced conversation about ryukishi. I remember seeing people liveblogging umineko and literally being dogpiled for any criticisms while in the process of reading. it's kinda bad tbh

ok only thing I'll say is I don't get why people are complaining so hard about here when just the other week everyone was going on about how the grok algorithm destroyed their reach & engagements.... like.... there were people with 5k followers getting maybe 20 likes on an art post it was abysmal

sometimes i wonder what umineko wouldve been like if it had leaned more into horror. it def felt like the answers arc had a pretty big tone shift compared to the questions arc. I haven't finished Higurashi (I'm still in the questions arc) but I really am enjoying the horror aspects of it so far

honestly ive been so busy with holidays i havent drawn as much evanatsu as i wanted...... i drew a bunch of art for my family for prints & also did some clay sculpting for gifts as well :')
