What did support say? I just assumed it was a product of optical HR being inferior to electrode based strap tech.

Mine created spikes that aren’t real, but also missed spikes (or didn’t spike as high) during intervals.

It’s tough when the optical HR is so bad though…any short duration high intensity intervals are very poorly captured. Helps if you use the arm strap but for me I feel like the HR accuracy (during heavy exercise) leads to a bit of garbage in.

Isn’t everything qualified by this? Only bans it if “for the purpose of changing to body to no longer correspond to the individual’s sex”

Shouldn’t we have murdered the Binance guy too, then, rather than pardoning?

Shouldn’t they hold some meaning for other countries trying to predict which way the stray voltage will project? Something is better than nothing, even if only to confirm what everybody has known?

Your favorite chart being default colors and calibri is jarring.

I contend that preventing anyone from trading individual names is good for their financial health.

As long as congress can have managed portfolios invested in ETFs this has no bearing on their earning capacity…that is unless they are trading individual names based on MNPI in which case…

Also: “A company prioritizing stock buybacks over cash collection signals confidence in reported earnings but reveals actual cash generation insufficient to support both shareholder returns and operational growth.” is an absolute chefs kiss of incompetence.

The inventory increase does seem interesting (didn’t read the Q, maybe they explained), but it’s impossible to ignore the absolute butchering of about a dozen basic financial concepts.

That is what I am saying yes. Likely? No. Possible? Absolutely.

I didn’t say pretend to be Vanity Fair. Independent journalism is hot these days. New publications springing up each day.
November 22, 2025 at 8:08 PM
She can’t pretend to be one (see: integrity, none)? If she doesn’t intend to follow through and the source doesn’t care if it gets published or is hoodwinked, presto.

I understand your point now, I guess this is where we differ.
November 22, 2025 at 7:46 PM
Private citizens can enter into legal agreements the same as companies. How would a nuzzi-source agreement be practically different than a vanity fair-source agreement?
November 22, 2025 at 7:36 PM
This still supposes the person selling the story cares that it gets published/that she is the party to the agreement personally. If she’s never going to publish it, she can “commit to the story” in bad faith.

Think we’re talking about meaningless nuance at this point. Have a nice day.
November 22, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Maybe Olbermann is paying for this too.
November 22, 2025 at 7:17 PM
But can’t she just do it as a private citizen? I guess it’s just harder because your intention to kill after catch is more transparent, so maybe fewer folks want to sell the info to you, but the sellers are just in it for money?

Clearly integrity isn’t a barrier for Nuzzi.
November 22, 2025 at 7:08 PM
Legal power? Doesn’t it just require money to “purchase” stories or dirt and just sit on it?
November 22, 2025 at 7:00 PM
I don’t think it’s a mystery box show. Gilligan lets us in on the “how” and “what” immediately. To me it is more about big philosophical questions around consent, individualism vs collective etc.
November 19, 2025 at 10:18 AM
I’d just start flying in top entertainers for several private shows a week. That should do it.

I feel like this would look much different as a share of incremental GDP, which I think is a more appropriate measure — ie the rate of investment as a % of forward GDP looks more favorably on those historical innovations.

Yeah these folks slander dead kids for fun, I don’t think they care about any of that.
