Okay the answer is kinda that the ticket prices have gone up notably in recent years, but honestly even basic living costs are also on another level than they were before rona, which was (temporary?) end for my cosplay hobby

Oh also, I don't know if it was the Japanese localization team just being some unfunny fellas or what, but I feel like some stuff sounded a bit too serious or even awkward to my ear? Especially the hub world names were quite lame, same goes for some level names too

I'm used to playing the games in Finnish (well minus the first one as it was never dubbed into Finnish), so I see him more sarcastic (in a good way) and even a bit more mature? Gonna play Sly 2 next and see how some character sound like there in Japanese

This isn't a problem for me tbh, as I can just read in Japanese. But I do hope that others could also get to read some stuff because there are a plenty of hidden jewels. Too bad they can't find them because they don't know the language, and I don't have the time/energy to translate long texts

That one guy sure has been getting a lot of English translations past few years and it seems like there's no stop to it. Makes me feel a bit sad, because currently it feels like JP lit has been reduced to only few names and fans of certain series are making it even worse 😔

In any case, I wouldn't say they are obscure as names. But they aren't read that widely outside of Japan, so in that sense you could say they are obscure, but at the same time not if you've done your homework of basic JP lit history

Takeo for sure is less read even in Japan (if they read any examples of Srkb lit, it's either Sg or 🎀), but the other mf is still read quite actively and his name is pretty much always in some lit quizes too bc naturalism was such a big thing

Can't never win with this game, but at least the terminology's existence should help devs themselves with keeping track of shit that's going on and what they've said previously (hopefully 😂)

Been wondering if I could promote the game somehow, especially with all the anniversary campaigns going on, and all players get all the 85 guys for free (it's permanent thing too). But I think big amount of people still just think of the anime when they hear Bungou to Alchemist 😔
