A climate agreement that doesn’t mention the fossil fuels causing the climate crisis? Make it make sense❗

It’s only “logical” when the process has been co-opted by fossil fuel lobbyists.

So the last person responsible for tracking leaky oil wells in ALL the national parks in the U.S. was just forced to step down, with no replacement in sight.

It's not like oil infrastructure has a history of making toxic messes, right?? Right?? 🫠

🥳 VICTORY 🥳 This week, we stopped an amendment in Congress that would have criminalized pipeline protests.

THANK YOU to the thousands of people who sent messages to Congress and helped protect our right to free speech!

In case anyone forgot, ADM's existing injection well leaked for months and is a failure bc the CO2 wasn't actually permanently sequestered. Google is betting on a bad and unsafe technology #nofaslsesolutions

Taking vocabulary directly from oil and gas messaging, Google calls point-source carbon capture at methane gas plants “clean, affordable, [and] reliable.”

But CCS at methane gas (or coal) power plants has never been any of those things.

Google will build a natural gas power plant and capturing the CO2 emissions. Sounds good, right? One hitch: carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) hasn't exactly lived up to expectations, and that's before we start talking about methane. techcrunch.com/2025/10/23/g...

@cantwell.senate.gov pipeline safety is critical! We need common sense rules for CO2 pipelines. This bill does not go far enough to close loopholes without @markey.senate.gov's amendments!

🚨The Senate Commerce Committee is taking up pipeline safety RIGHT NOW. We need commonsense protections from carbon pipelines, not more toothless guidelines.

Stop letting industry write the rules ✋

CO2 pipeline ruptures & leaks can endanger people & wildlife for MILES around. The proposed PIPES Act falls short & lacks commonsense, evidence-based safety measures. Call your Senators 📞 855-980-2396 📞 to tell them why pipeline safety matters to you!
