I cook, I play the drums, I’ve got awesome kids and a cool partner. I used to write about video games and still play a lot of them. True child of the 70’s, PNW born and raised.

Stewart Copeland is a legitimately legendary drummer - certainly one of my genuine heroes, and I’ve been playing for better than 45 years. That said, this is now one of my very favorite things on the internet. Thanks so much for sharing it!

I can’t say exactly why, but when I heard the awful, awful news, I suddenly had an overwhelming desire to hear (for the first time in at least a decade) the 1up Show theme song. youtu.be/oTrd7m5mRso?...

Mr. Mould, your music has been a part of my life for nearly 40 years. I still vividly remember the morning I first heard Flip Your Wig at my best friend’s house before school. I’ve seen you live a half dozen times in the interim. Thank you for a lifetime of songs. Can’t wait to hear the new ones!

Not nearly enough end-of-the-year love for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, easily the most interesting game (both mechanically and aesthetically) I played this year!

As much as I love “September Gurls” - and all of Radio City, my favorite Big Star record - I’d like to offer the opinion that “Back of A Car” is the albums’s, and the band’s, actual best song. And don’t even get me started on the ending duo of “Morpha Too” and “I’m In Love With A Girl.” Exquisite.
