This is a great issue. I got into comics and specifically the X-Men right before this. Love the art, the story!

Rich not rush. 🤪

Loved the article. The juxtaposition you point out of the reaction to the wealthy vs the poor doing the same crime is SO true. I think of how people see the poor stealing bread vs. the rush stealing from investors.

"There’s no way anyone could say with a straight face that Grassley, out of everyone living in Iowa, is the best-equipped to represent the state on the national stage." Article quote.

Read it. Long article that uses Grassley as an example of how our democracy is failing. Good read if you have the time.

Company line: "they're closing this plant because it'll save them just under $17 million, with an 'M,' dollars a year. $17 million a year on an annual profit of over $2 billion dollars. That's less than one percentage point of the profit they made in a year. And they want to shut a plant down."

I didn't really play any of the last season of Fortnite. I was considering jumping in for the Simpsons to check it out. This really makes me want to quit all together.

Got this years ago because the X-Men were in it. The title changed to Dark Angel after the first few issues.

I didn't realize consumer sales of Christian goods equaled more Christ-likeness. Maybe I should buy more...

(Bonus reply) Maybe this is why women's ministries tend to be so shallow in doctrine, teaching, or training. Not that they don't want anything deeper, but the mental bandwidth isn't there for anything deeper with so much load on their minds.

(2/2) In reality it looks more like the husband doing a lot more sitting or socializing while the wife runs around managing the kids, household, etc.

(1/2) I have definitely seen this played out in marriages. The husband goes to work and does the "man's responsibilities" at home (mowing etc). Wife handles everything else. Sounds good when you put it that simple...

In my experience, when things are looking down the only thing I can do is do the next step. No matter how small it is, it is a step towards progress. I hear your frustration with what is going on and will be praying that it is resolved quickly and your lives will begin to look up!

I've been showing this to my family all day. So fitting for the current situation this Independence Day.

I've been doing this exact thing lately!

I love the cover of X-Men #4. I've got two copies. Great issue.

I have one and love it!
Here is the TLDR: It does not play games on its own. Your WIFI will completely determine your experience. It is great playing anywhere in your house, especially when others want the TV.

I remember a "Christian" relative tell me that "he says just what we are thinking." All I could think was that their internal thoughts must be so ugly and un-Christ-like.

I love James 2:5-7.
You guys, the poor aren't the problem. The rich are the reason you have it so bad!
