Yesterday we did the old people thing of touring Disney resorts riding monorails, buses, boats, and skyliners while spending no money.
Well, we did get Ohana Noodles and a Dole Whip at the Polynesian. Mater spooked me.

Typical for me I found a hair inside 🙄 once I finished, so I had to break it back down, but that wasn’t so bad. Only scar is on a screw I thought had to be removed but seems was only decorative. It works! Definitely my favorite after this. 👍

The screws are insanely small, and the hands next to impossible, but doable with Rodaco, patience, and the correct tools (those hands are so fragile!). I flushed out the case with air and reassembled.

I was totally lost until I noticed two spots, pressed, and realized the face had to separate to release the movement out the front. SUCCESS!
Taking watches apart is easy. Putting them together is the trick.

I decided to do it myself. If nothing else I’d learn a few things. I already had a simple tool kit. I researched videos and blogs and ordered a new movement for $60. Things went well until the movement wouldn’t drop out the back.

Time catches up to me today, so I thought I’d help it out and fix my beloved Bulova Sutton 96A187 skeleton watch. I dropped it earlier this year, breaking the movement. The watch shop wanted over $200 to try to fix it. I declined cause I didn’t pay that much for it to start with.
