I may know who you're talking about, and yeah, it's super disappointing. Animation, even very short ones are either really hard or really expensive, so there's that factor, too, unfortunately.

This is one of the reasons I'm reluctant to post my art and engage with social media as a 'portfolio' or 'networking' tool, it would drive me insane.
Still, your art is great, the real fans will stick around, and it's those ones that matter.
