When I lived in Vancouver nearly a decade ago Save on Foods sold a lumberjack sandwich that fit the criteria, I'd buy one and have lunch for several days. Doubt they still do, certainly not for as cheap a price, but could be worth a look.

I think many people forget about that tbh. I get the sense that it's mostly because they did the whole "we can't afford to spend like them, we're just little guys" routine for ages and then spent 400 million in one summer. That and certain people love to cheer for a fall after some years of success.

For anyone wondering, the Vancouver Whitecaps won a penalty shootout after playing extra time a man down and even two men down for the final few minutes after one of their players got injured and couldn't play on. LA hit the frame of the goal multiple times in extra time too.

I've watched soccer for 21 years now and that was legit one of the more dramatic ends to a match I've ever witnessed. And I've seen a lot over that time. Just wild.

The free kick he scored from shouldn't even have been given as a foul and the referee gave a second yellow for it! I hate complaining about referees but god save me from mls refereeing😵‍💫
