Yeah, one of the funniest things I’ve seen on tv this year. Peacemaker is my favorite show right now. The podcasts are great also.

It is very funny, but my pick would be:

I'm not sure a two-state solution is going to be possible withut the removal of Hamas. In any case, I'm glad we can agree that the Palestinians and Israelis are deserving of their own states.

Am happy to see we agree on a two-state solution. I also have no objection to seeing another leader replace Netanyahu. And I would urge Hamas be removed from leading the Palestinians.

I agree that the situation is complicated. However, Hamas has not been good for the Palestinians. Also, it refuses to accept the legitimacy of an Israeli state. I believe only a two-state solution can lead to peace in that region.

I think the Federation would remove Hamas. Then a Palestinian state can live peacably next to Israel.

I love Star Trek, but humans are never going to be traveling into outer space and inhabiting other planets. It is just too deadly out there. The distances too large.
We will live and die on our home planet: Earth.

I've no issue with that as long as the right to single sex spaaces for females is recognized and protected.

Have been on a tv series binge this year. Re-watched Buffy, Angel & Agents of Shield. All very well written.
Even watched Dark Shadows for the 1st time. Was surprised to learn that it was much more than a vampire show. Also dealt with other horror & sci-fi themes such as time travel, etc.

Have been watching my recently acquired dvd set of Gunsmoke:The Complete Series. Was surprised to learn that Sam Peckinpah wrote several episodes in Season 1.

It gets worse. Wait until you make it to your seventies.

Pretty close to my view when I browsed through it at a bookstore years ago.
Life is too short and there are too many good books to waste time on the bad ones.

1. The Thing
2. Halloween
3. Escape From New York
4. Starman
5. They Live

TBH, I've only watched 7 Carpenter films. Didn't really care for Big Trouble in Little China. Did enjoy The Fog but not as much as the 5 listed. Will have to take time to view his other films.

The Spy Who Came in From the Cold & The Big Sleep are great. They'd be in my 15 favorite films list along with Treasure of the Sierra Madre & 2001 A Space Odyssey.

They are in no particular order. Provided dates for those sharing titles with other films.

I'd think The Beatles would be an obvious example.

Got a chance to watch this last night. A great movie. Thanks much for the recommendation.

Have never watched this film. Just ordered the 4k blu ray based on your recommendation.😀

Totally agree.
Looks like a vacuous claim to me. What criteria can possibly be used to attribute consciousness to these micro particles?

No.

I don't identiy the mind with the brain. Nor do I think a human being is the mind that he has.
It really boils down to a conceptual issue. If one conceives of the mind as an agent working inside of a human being then it would make sense to hold your position.

I have a problem with (A). I raise my arm. My mind does not cause my arm to raise.
