TBH, I've only watched 7 Carpenter films. Didn't really care for Big Trouble in Little China. Did enjoy The Fog but not as much as the 5 listed. Will have to take time to view his other films.

It really boils down to a conceptual issue. If one conceives of the mind as an agent working inside of a human being then it would make sense to hold your position.
