The companies, yes, the general population, no.

I just think it’s just a problem of ignorance. Folks less plugged into tech don’t know what they don’t know. By no fault of their own, they just don’t know.

It works in the companies favor to flatten the term and muddy the waters. I’m just clarifying for anyone who might stumble on this.

For sure. I didn’t doubt that you were referring to GenAI, but the flattening of the term is problematic for the uniformed.

I don’t think critics of GenAI are doing anything wrong by not saying “GenAI”. I just think it’s important to specify sometimes for those that don’t know as much.

As long as we are talking about GenAi. The flattening of the term “Ai” has become a little bit of a problem.

I, personally, believe that stuff like machine learning is very different and not an issue. It’s not based on theft of others art.

Play Disco Elysium and it’ll be like doing both. Haha

Apple seems to have really lost their way on UI/UX design.
They were really good at it for a while. Not everything was to everyone’s taste. But it wasn’t confusing to use.

Something changed though. Over the last few years, I’ve often been befuddled with their design decisions.

I very much have a similar feeling. Negative desire to be a politician, but confused as to how the ones we have are so bad so often.

Idk when to buy one to be honest. Seems like it’s just going to get worse for a while. So if you are looking to get one anytime soon, I would seriously think about getting one before it possibly gets worse…

But there’s a lot of assumption and guesses there.

I like the idea, in theory, but am very uncomfortable with giving any governing body that much control over access to the internet.
Age verification has been a cluster fuck of privacy issues.

It’s so bad. It’s an objectively bad thing for society, but makes lots of money. 🫠

Sounds like they fundamentally misunderstand speed running, and just think it means “I try to get done with game quickly”.
December 10, 2025 at 2:26 PM
So yeah it’s weird that they SAY the same thing, but MEAN different things.

This will differ a bit from person to person, but ARPG is like Diablo, Grim Dawn, POE.
Action RPG is like the Witcher or a souls game maybe. An RPG, with action. Many other examples but that’s the idea.

Yeah this has interested me since I learned the difference.

For prismatic. As far as I understand, you have to play through that expansion to unlock it, yes, but at least it’s a good expansion.

Our local Kroger will often have zero normal checkups open, with only half the self checkouts open, while the line stretches to the back of the store.
December 4, 2025 at 3:29 PM
I would support this, but to do that, they would have to have real checkout lanes open also.. 🫠

Horses is adult, it’s not erotic or sexual.

(I have not played it but this is the point others have been making about it. Distinction between “adult” and those other games.)
December 2, 2025 at 8:44 PM
I just did the exact same thing with your post.
December 1, 2025 at 3:27 AM
And yet, some games STILL don’t let you pause, even if it’s a single player game… (lookin at you fromsoftware…)

My brain immediately went to like, a GameStop.. and I was like woah woah now… hahah

This is Dolly slander. Even as apolitical as she is, there’s zero chance she’s been a Trump ally at any point.

-being unable to pause single player play
-NPCs that don’t match your speed
