she has this whole supposition about “whites becoming jews” as a way of universalizing jewish trauma as exculpatory, but she then works in the polar opposite way to excuse violence against jews as being non-extraordinary, simply just another facet of western state violence

the actual article is horribly written, meandering, and incredibly myopic in the thesis it tries to get across, in supposing that the australian state is using this “day of mourning” as a way of shielding itself from its colonial crimes.
