I was envisioning a full set ever since UB began. Decks would have worked as well; I was thinking similarly to what you said.
Like, what we got isn't 100% awful, but it has a some baffling choices (Sol Ring, Dual Blade flavor text, etc), a glaring spelling mistake, and it feels lacking.

No idea if any UB ones haven't had them. There's too many to check right now but maybe that's the case.
The invader thing would be a fun implementation of those monsters, but still would be just more monsters and none of the other MH flavor that makes the series so good. 😕
