My only Leica lens is an elmar. I don’t have any others as I don’t think they give me anything I don’t get (and more) out of 3rd party lenses. The Voigtlander 40mm is modern rendering, but is cheap as chips.

As for the iPhone - the issue is more the lens quality than the sensor. The lens on the current 15 pro max gets soft into the corners (see shot of my trouser leg).

My 3 most successful early attempts with the Mint TL70 Plus - I really love being able to shoot Instax film in this sort of light.

Shot in Tenby in the summer with the Nikon F100, 85mm and Portra 400.

Mint have loaned me their forthcoming TL70 Plus. Instax square format, autoexposure with full manual control f/5.6, big bright proper viewfinder TLR… and it’s bloody brilliant! Review coming!
