Check the timestamps. On CNN’s website, the uploaded interview starts at 2:52. On their YouTube page, the upload starts at 2:47. The “plenary authority” comment by Miller was at 2:41, as shown in my side-by-side video post. CNN should be reporting on what Miller said. It’s news!

What this also means is that CNN has a Republican operative IN THE CONTROL ROOM, on the same IFB as the producer, ready to yell in the ear of the on-screen mouthpiece to STOP TALKING IMMEDIATELY. WHY DOES CNN ALLOW THIS? WHY SHOULD THE AUDIENCE PUT UP WITH THIS?

i should just hack it so moves can display what type they are when they're used with a little icon and font color or something. imagine dealing with fiery wrath thunderous kick and freezing glare without knowing what their users' theme was lmao

aside from grimmsnarl it feels like fairy is just seen as Girly Glitter Cute Love Type, with a side of moon/space magic for clefable and sylveon that could still be a sailor moon ref (meteor beam is still rock, though)

i can do whatever i want forever but the established design language makes it unclear what type of move a "luna cutter" or "shadow rush" are when you first get hit by them when in a different game it would be obvious, and i don't want to trip any "luxray is light dipshit" type fangame rage landmines

kowtow cleave is a near exact copy of false surrender in function and flavor that adds nothing to it except 5 BP and a sharpness tag for a pokemon that doesn't even have sharpness

fairy got moonblast and took moonlight (and umbreon can't learn moonblast), and blood moon (the move and the ursaluna) is normal. and then shadow pokemon get all the hurting yourself with the power of darkness and unrestrained violence as if to halve the theming cake slice left for dark even tinier

shadow force / shadow sneak / spirit shackle being ghost implies that vanishing into darkness to strike unexpectedly or literal shadow stitching are separate from dark, limiting its flavor to just "moves that would be banned in organized fighting" and "evil thoughts." not even shadow ball is dark

no regular steel slashing move besides metal claw when multiple sword pokemon exist is also some kind of absurd running gag at this point but that's just a flavor issue

we do need it really bad though. especially when all physical fairy has is play rough and all special dark has is snarl and dark pulse when you're trying to make a reasonable level up set with signature moves, let alone a flavorful and unique one and not a reprint of every other pokemon of that type

trying to make new fairy dark and ghost pokemon moves is kinda hard when there's so much overlap and vagueness in their themes, something about moon magic or evil mischief could be two or three of them and fairy isn't the light type either. and sometimes a thesaurus doesn't have what i'm looking for
