Hamster of Borg

We are hamster of borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. Right after we are done running in our wheel.
Didn't need FEMA employees to tell anyone that. The administration literally told everyone that was what they were doing. Just because they lie about everything doesn't mean they're not capable of telling the truth sometimes, especially when gleefully bragging about the harm they are causing.

Cowardly lickspittles with no interest in the Constitution and no understanding of history like power grabs like that.

He should be held accountable for every incident done in his name even though he couldn't stop it at this point even if he wanted to. Violence is inherent in his support - the physical violence of attacking perceived enemies as well as the violence of harming lives through destruction of government.

"Turns out"... not by accident. Stop trying to normalize this. They are actively working to undermine all trust in government while destroying the competency of agencies by defunding them and arbitrarily castrating their ability to do the job they are supposed to do, just to prove their own point.

Mainly because they don't understand the legalities behind it and don't care. Malicious incompetence knows no bounds.

Not to mention ignoring that the White House physician's office was essentially a pill mill from 2017 to 2019, handing out prescription meds like they were candy to anyone who asked.

It is destined to fail because it is nothing more than a brain fart by a bunch of incompetent assholes with inferiority complexes who have no idea what they're doing, on any issue. It is something that -could- be accomplished with sensible legislation advised on by experts, and appropriate funding.

Yet another article that shows how badly @washingtonpost.com has completely abandoned any interest in journalism. Democracy dies in darkness, indeed. Darkness they create by refusing to do their job of informing the public about how dangerous this bill is and how much damage it is intended to cause.

When we thought things couldn't be worse than the malicious incompetence of DeJoy, the USPS governing board said "Hold our beers."

The only point of school vouchers is to steal money from public education to give it to private companies that have much less oversight, lower standards, and don't have to make accommodations for any student needing extra attention - who gets dumped back onto the sabotaged public school system.

If he's failing to report stuff like that, it's safe to assume there are much worse things he's also failing to report. His foreign conflicts of interest should be an immediate disqualification.

These recalls should come with a requirement that they explain how and why there was shit in their product.

We don't know what a man with a self-professed nazi idealogy meant with a nazi salute, after years of pushing and amplifying nazi voices? I mean, it's bad enough to let them gaslight us, but we don't need to do it to ourselves.

This has happened at least a couple of times a year for the last several years because Republicans are inept at governing. Even when the minority they are only capable of throwing wrenches in the system. All Congress does is the bare minimum, kicking the can down the road, again. It's embarrassing.

I love the "Oh, tacking on all sorts of junk fees that serve no purpose other than to bilk customers out of their money is fine, as long as they disclose it up front that they are price gouging."

Since when do they care about the Constitution? They don't need a convention to throw out whatever parts they want, they have a Supreme Court more than happy to do it for them.

Conditioned? Feels like a chicken or the egg scenario. I postulate that you have to be morally bankrupt already to choose to follow morally bankrupt leadership.

So far there have been only two types of nominees he has put forward. Those with utter loyalty to him, and those with utter loyalty to the Heritage Foundation. Neither should be permitted a role in government. Their only professed aim is to destroy the things they are nominated for.

To be fair, there are teaspoons with more depth.

Don't you hate those inline ads that pretend to be news articles?
March 12, 2024 at 10:55 PM
Wake me when they finally figure out that bouncing the camera around randomly so you can't tell what is going on is not a substitute for action, and making scenes too dark to see is not a substitute for suspense. Oh, and they can screw off with that high-pitched whine noise for "stunned" scenes.

Who could have imagined a problem signing up for a cruise with a company that didn't even own a cruise ship?
January 23, 2024 at 6:26 PM
Will airline prices drop? Are you insane? We're still paying the "temporary" extra fees they added after 9/11. The only thing AI will do for travel is give airlines another, more expensive way to make getting to our destination the most miserable part of the process.
