I didn't see this one coming 😅

Fact: There will be another 4 years old kid in almost 2 years!!
Prediction: They will have even more complicated questions.
Example: What color will the car be that crashes into ours?

Presented our work at #BACN2025. That was a very great time to meet many lovely and smart people around!

Visceral Mind School, September 2025. One of my best experiences I have ever had!!

Absolutely, there’s a lot of uncertainty. We tried to highlight the tricky areas that future studies could focus on and explore further!!

No, the window does not influence the offset that much, and yes, it is interesting!!
hamzehn.bsky.social
However, based on Fig. S1, narrower windows like [1–20] Hz or [3–20] Hz might not be ideal for estimating the exponent.
hamzehn.bsky.social
It’s possible that using different windows, like [4–X] Hz or [6–X] Hz, or varying the additional parameters, could change the group difference, or not. The reason why the [1–X] Hz window shows a smaller exponent remains uncertain.
hamzehn.bsky.social
Although these additional parameters were kept constant while only the window length was varied, we can’t rule out the possibility that their interaction with window length may influence the results (e.g., [1–X] Hz × peak threshold × minimum peak height, etc.).

Thanks Alina. The group difference observed in Fig. S1 might not be solely due to the choice of window length (e.g., [1–X] Hz or [3–X] Hz), but could also involve interactions between the window length and other parameters used in the Specparam model, such as peak threshold and minimum peak height.
